MESTIZO was founded in Valladolid, Yucatan, in 2010.
It was the state of Yucatan in Mexico that became the root and the main foundation of MESTIZO. Each piece made in the workshop, each collection and each project carried out has our country as its starting point, reworking, revitalizing and reinventing luxury for a national and international audience.
MESTIZO begins production work for major international brands also founded in the Yucatan region. Several projects have been consolidated over the years, which has led them to gain fundamental experience and position them as one of the most important artisan workshops in our area.
MESTIZO's design seeks to be perfectionist, researching, studying, applying and supervising the traditional details of craftsmanship in each handmade piece, highlighting the unique details of each artisanal process.
The sense of family is one of the keys to the identity of the MESTIZO workshop. Each artisan, specialized tanners, embroiderers and weavers from several generations, are passionate and proud of the work and vision of the brand, in addition to the commitment to preserve and progress along with traditional Mexican culture.
