For us, it is important to create a new concept that connects you with your origins, culture, history, tradition and spirituality. This is how MAZEHUAL was born, a Mexican brand created in the Yucatan Peninsula by our HMC Mexico Artisanal Workshop.
The word Mazehual in pre-Hispanic Mexico had a meaning full of pride and promoted life with a sacred sense; that is, each day was lived as a spiritual ceremony and it was believed that each action impacted the course of the universe. Over time, the term Mazehual lost the meaning that was synonymous with pride and work, to become a pejorative in our dialect.
Today, we want to feel proud of our origins again, creating this concept with handmade textile garments and accessories that accompany you in your daily life, your travels, your ceremonies, your actions, your everything.
The signature inspiration for the MAZEHUAL brand is the iconic "Mexico". The popularity of our pieces was due in part to the versatility, freshness and diversity of materials used by our Mexican artisans. Functionality is very important to the brand, so all collections range from clothing to accessories, footwear and home, each of them inspired by this great cultural wealth of our country.
